Dear insect genomic scientists,

Thank you for participating “The First International Workshop of Leptidoptera Genomics, September 30-October 3, 2002, Tsukuba, Japan”

In the workshop, 159 persons including 34 foreigners from 11 different countries were joined and had many nice presentations in the first three days and discussed about the future direction of lepidoptera genomics in the last day.

We, the organizing committee appreciate it very much for the persons to join the workshop.

We hope the workshop will contribute to make a network of the scientists working in this field and to accelerate the progress in the future leptdoptera genomics.
